Husband of Stormy Daniels Claims They May Flee the Country

(USNewsMag.com) – On May 14th, adult film star Barrett Blade, Stormy Daniels’ fourth husband, said the couple would leave the United States depending on the outcome of former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial.

Blade said the couple was considering the move due to the backlash Daniels has faced since she testified on May 7th and May 9th. Daniels’ salacious testimony included graphic details of her alleged encounter with Trump in 2006 and the $130,000 she received in exchange for not publicly sharing the story. Her testimony was at times so graphic that Judge Juan Merchan warned her to tone it down and stated her testimony included “unnecessary” details. Her testimony resulted in Trump’s attorneys filing two motions for a mistrial in the case, citing Daniels’ “unduly prejudicial” testimony.

Following her testimony, her attorney, Clark Brewster, revealed she wore a bulletproof vest out of fear of what “some nut might do to her.”

In an interview on “Outfront,” Blade said that he does not “think it gets better for her,” regardless of the outcome of the hush-money trial. However, he stated that if Trump is found not guilty, there is a “good chance” the couple will flee the country. He noted that it is a no-win situation as even if Trump is found guilty, Daniels would likely still face backlash from Trump’s supporters.

He added that the couple wants to move “on with our lives” and do what “normal people get to do in some aspects.” However, he said he is unsure “if that ever will be,” adding that “it breaks my heart.”

Blade noted that his wife is “used to all of this,” calling Daniels “a warrior” who is “fighting for what she believes is right.”

Trump has pleaded not guilty to charges he had his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, pay Daniels $130,000 just before the 2016 election to keep her from sharing the story of their alleged intimate encounter and then wrote the payment off as a legal expense.
