(USNewsMag.com) – As Hunter Biden agrees to a private deposition with House Republicans in February, reports show he has ties to almost two dozen current and former officials in the Biden administration.
The reported ties come as the Republicans in the House continue investigating whether President Joe Biden is connected to Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.
According to an analysis by Fox News Digital, Hunter Biden has ties to multiple former Biden administration staff members and many current staff members. Many of the interactions also included Eric Schwerin, Hunter Biden’s longtime business partner, and they occurred during the time frame when Hunter Biden joined the board at the Burisma energy company in Ukraine.
National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan served on the board of the liberal foreign policy think tank, the Truman National Security Project, with the president and Hunter Biden.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken and White House chief of staff Jeff Zients held meetings in 2015 and 2016 with Hunter Biden.
White House aide Michael Hochman, who has also served as White House deputy staff secretary, spent almost two decades working at the Delaware law firm that was involved with many of the corporate entities tied to Hunter Biden, his business associates, and other members of the Biden family, including Rosemont Seneca.
Emails from 2014 show that a top aide to then-Secretary of State John Kerry was saying Kerry and Hunter Biden had a close relationship. Chris Heinz, Kerry’s stepson, was also a business partner of Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, who was also on the Burisma board.
Other emails show that former White House chief of staff Ron Klain, assistant to the president and the current director of Oval Office operations Annie Tomasini, former White House communications director Kate Bedingfield, the Pentagon’s deputy director of protocol Kathy Chung, and the communications director for first lady Jill Biden Elizabeth Alexander, a senior adviser to President Michael Donilon, President Joe Biden’s White House counselor Steve Ricchetti, Blinken’s wife, and White House cabinet secretary Evan Ryan also have ties to Hunter Biden.
