Ex-CCP Member Calls Biden’s TikTok Action ‘Desperate’ and ‘Alarming’

(USNewsMag.com) – President Joe Biden recently joined TikTok to promote his 2024 presidential campaign, and according to a Chinese immigrant and former member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the move is a “desperate” attempt by the president to appeal to younger voters while showing the administration is either naive to the party’s reach or simply doesn’t care.

Lily Tang Williams is a Chinese immigrant who has not only settled into the US with patriotic enthusiasm but is now a Republican candidate for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Williams was surprised and confused by Biden’s decision to join TikTok, a Chinese company, especially since the current administration ordered all federal agencies to remove the app from the systems and devices of all government employees last year over national security concerns.

Williams asked whether or not Biden is “aware of the potential risks” of using TikTok and the fact that “all the data” on the platform are accessible for use by the CCP. She then answered that perhaps Biden is “desperate” and “needs young people’s votes.”

Williams believes Biden chose to join the platform because he knows that’s where he will find many of “Gen Z’s young voters,” who she says are also “easily manipulated,” “controlled,” and “brainwashed” to continue voting for his administration. The congressional candidate from New Hampshire also said that many of those young folks “don’t understand politics” and have “bought into” what she called “woke culture.”

TikTok has an estimated 80 million active monthly users in the US. Sixty percent of those users are female, 40% are male. Sixty percent are between 16 and 24 years old, and 26% are between 25 and 44 years old.

Biden’s campaign launched its TikTok page on Sunday, February 11th, with a video of the president responding to questions related to the Super Bowl. The caption for the video simply read, “lol hey guys.” It was shared around the time when presidents normally give interviews before the big game, which Biden has skipped for the second year in a row.

Williams maintains that as long as TikTok remains owned by a Chinese company, the data of its users “are not safe.” She also claims the CCP has “arms” and “operatives” throughout the West to influence its culture and elections.
