White House Salaries Revealed, Most Are Over 100k

Biden Admin Salaries REVEALED — Guess How Much Your Tax Dollars Are Paying Them?

(USNewsMag.com) – Working for the federal government can provide some Americans a very comfortable lifestyle. That’s especially true for the people who work for the president of the United States. The administration recently revealed the salaries of the 474 employees working in the White House.

On Friday, July 1, the White House sent a list to Congress detailing the salaries. According to the annual congressional report, Susan Rice, Chief of Staff Ron Klain, and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre make the maximum $180,000 annual salary, as do 22 other officials. The list showed that 16 employees don’t receive any pay at all, including economic adviser Justin Levitt. Twelve others earn $48,000 and 39 make $63,875, and at least half of the staffers earn over $100,000 per year.

The highest-paid employee for the Biden administration is Acting WH Science Advisor Dr. Francis Collins who is paid $300,000 annually.

The salaries are slightly higher than other modern presidential administrations. In 2020, former President Donald Trump notified Congress he had 412 staff members. The average salary for a paid staff member was $98,614, with 68 making more than $150,000 per year. The former POTUS’ daughter, Ivanka Trump, and his son-in-law Jared Kushner did not have paid positions.

The highest-paid employee during the final year of the Trump administration was Peter Brown, who served as the special representative for Puerto Rico’s disaster recovery. He earned an annual salary of $190,289 — more than $100,000 less than Biden’s top employee.
