Ultimate BETRAYAL – Christian Company CAVES

(USNewsMag.com) – Chick-Fil-A is joining the list of companies, including Target and Bud Light, being criticized on social media for promoting and embracing woke ideology. Chick-Fil-A, a privately owned company, is known as a company run on both conservative as well as Christian principles, even facing backlash four years ago due to its support of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Salvation Army.

Social media users are speaking out after a diversity, equity, and inclusion segment of Chick-fil-A’s website showing diversity programs that are meant for females and members of racial minorities only was shared. Two years ago the company hired Erick Reynolds to be its vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In Chick-fil-A’s employment nondiscrimination statement, the company includes gender identity, as well as “gender expression” alongside race, religion, and veteran status. Within its supply chain, the company seeks to engage in partnerships with businesses that are minority-owned as well as seeks to collaborate with diverse professional development organizations.

A sustainability report from the week of May 22 cites the company’s commitment to diversity, including that a steering committee had been created for insights into DEI initiatives. Making diversity “an integral part of our culture of care” at Chick-Fil-A is also included in the report.

A video from a June 2020 talk at Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia has also gone viral again which shows Chick-fil-A Chairman Dan Cathy discussing shining the shoes of Lecrae, a black Christian rapper. Cathy says the story should make listeners have “a sense of shame, a sense of embarrassment.”

According to Corporate Compliance Insights, 80 percent of employers in the United States have DEI initiatives.

Target and Bud Light have both seen shares fall after boycotts began of each company for woke ideology.  Target received criticism for its swimsuits which are “tuck friendly,” while Bud Light has seen six weeks of sales decline due to a partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.
