(USNewsMag.com) – On Tuesday, January 18, President Joe Biden’s administration launched covidtests.org. Americans can go to the website to order four at-home kits for their households. The administration is sending out one billion tests to families as the COVID-19 Omicron variant surges across the nation. However, not everyone has been able to order their free kits.
Just like with the Obamacare rollout almost a decade ago, people had difficulty using the government’s website. Some Americans said they weren’t able to order their free test kits because they lived in apartment buildings. The government is only allowing four per household and doesn’t seem to be distinguishing between the buildings and individual apartments or the commercial space that’s sometimes on the ground floor.
I won’t be able to receive at-home tests since my apartment is connected to a commercial building. Wonder how many others will have this issue. https://t.co/qundyrhifI pic.twitter.com/BKzOPadH23

Reporters asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about the botched rollout and she claimed there was just a “bug or two” they needed to work out. She claimed the administration tech teams were working on it.
The US Postal Service revealed that people who live somewhere not labeled a multi-unit building will have problems placing orders. The agency said those who are having trouble can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go HERE to make a request.
