Man Of HONOR – Trump Gets What He Deserves!

(USNewsMag.com) – Former President Donald Trump received an award while speaking at an event in Michigan, the award for “Man of Decade.” Trump received the award on June 25, while attending the Oakland County Republican Party’s 2023 Lincoln Day dinner which was held in Novi, Michigan. Trump’s appearance caused organizers to need a larger venue than originally anticipated, breaking Trump’s previous record for attendance in Michigan.

During his speech at the dinner, which was held at the Suburban Collection Showplace, Trump discussed his two indictments. Saying he considers it a “great badge of honor” every time the “radical left Democrats” indict him.

He warned of Democrats taking over the country and destroying “your way of life” forever. He also stated that for Michigan, as well as the country, President Joe Biden has been a “catastrophe.”

During his speech, he said if he is elected in 2024, he would end birthright citizenship for illegal aliens who have children in the country, end the Russia and Ukraine war, as well as cut federal fundings for schools found to be teaching topics such as gender identity or critical race theory.

In 2013, Trump was also the keynote speaker at the event. Michigan State Rep. Ryan Berman described Trump as taking “the political world by storm” in the 10 years since he last spoke at the dinner.

In a crowded field of candidates for the 2024 Republican nomination for president, Trump is the current frontrunner, leading Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by 38 points in the latest polls.

In 2016, Trump won Michigan by .3 percent over Hilary Clinton. In 2020, Biden won Michigan by 2.8 percent. However, he lost in Oakland County in both 2016 and 2020.

The stop was Trump’s first to Michigan as he campaigns for the Republican nomination for president. The Feb. 27 primary in the state will award 16 of the 55 delegates to the winner on Feb. 27, with the remaining 39 being awarded after a caucus meeting four days later.
