Kevin McCarthy Enemy PRAISES HIM – Says He Did The Right Thing!

( – On March 9, the Republican who had opposed Kevin McCarthy for House Speaker leadership applauded McCarthy’s decision to provide film of the Capitol incident on January 6, 2021 (J6) to Tucker Carlson, anchor at Fox News.

McCarthy said on March 7 that his decision was correct and that he had no misgivings about allowing Carlson to see the raw 41,000 hours of surveillance video of the assault on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

McCarthy said he made an early commitment to openness. He had a sincere desire that the public watch the evidence on the tapes and see what went on that day.

Although being cautious against any moves by the leadership to return to their old methods, Arizona Republican Rep. Eli Crane explained that he has discovered some benefits of McCarthy’s term.

Even if Crane believes there has been some regression and a general return to the old ways, he is certain that they will remain vigilant and make any necessary adjustments. He commends McCarthy for providing Carlson with access to the recordings on J6. He believes that it was a huge step in the right direction for the US.

Crane also discussed how many conservatives have lost faith in once revered institutions and groups in our government and nation. The move, in his opinion, was constructive. McCarthy is demonstrating openness and providing the American people with a balanced account of that day.

Fox News’ Carlson was criticized by politicians in the establishment and main stream media outlets for his coverage of J6 after receiving and showing some of the tapes from that day.

Carlson broadcast a tape showing Capitol Police quietly escorting Jacob Chansley, called QAnon Shaman, through the corridors of the capitol. Chansley was never stopped by them, as shown by the recordings. The group aided him. Carlson said that the two officers “acted as his tour guides” on his broadcast.

Numerous defendants who face prosecution for claimed conduct related to the incident have asked for trial extensions so they may watch the extra surveillance film, which may include evidence to clear their names.
