Celebrity Officially Landing In Federal Prison On Child Molestation Charges

( – The TLC show “19 Kids and Counting” was once wildly popular. Americans enjoyed watching the Duggar family navigate life and worship their faith. Then it all fell apart. The prodigal son, Josh Duggar, admitted to molesting girls, including his sisters, and the network canceled the show. Now he’s embarked on a new journey — in prison.

On Tuesday, June 28, the Bureau of Prisons website showed Duggar was serving his 12.5-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute Seagoville outside of Dallas, Texas. According to reports, he was held in the Washington County Jail in Arkansas until June 24 when prison officials began his transfer to the federal facility. On May 25, a judge sentenced Duggar to 151 months in prison for a child pornography conviction.

Duggar’s conviction was not related to the molestation allegations that ended his family’s TLC show. He’d moved on from those problems relatively free of any consequences. But in April 2021, law enforcement arrested him after a Little Rock police detective discovered compromising photos of children on a computer that he used. According to investigators, the 34-year-old had photos that included toddlers on the device.

The convicted felon is married and has seven children, including four daughters. His wife Anna has stood by his side thus far.
