(USNewsMag.com) – Impeachment articles were presented by Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) against Christopher Wray, the Director of the FBI.

After John Durham’s probe into the FBI’s investigation into the suspected links between Russia and former President Trump concluded, Greene moved to impeach Wray.

Greene’s office issued a statement claiming that under Wray, the FBI had become the Democrats’ private security team. Nothing has ever been done like this before by the FBI to everyday Americans. Americans that the FBI has identified as foes of President Joe Biden have been subjected to harassment, entrapment, and intimidation.

Greene commented that the US Constitution is the undisputed blueprint for a well-run republic. Each arm of government is given the authority to monitor the others’ actions. It’s possible for any branch to grow too enamored with its own authority and neglect its primary responsibility.

The statement went on to say that Director Wray has punished political opponents in a biased manner and has supervised steps to protect the present president and his family. A high-ranking FBI employee resigned after allegations surfaced that he had concealed evidence about the laptop of Hunter Biden, the president’s son.

It was discovered that FBI informant Kyle Seraphin had gotten a classified paper titled “Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists” from an unauthorized source. It was dated January 23, 2023, and it came from the Field Office in Richmond. This paper revealed the FBI’s intention to conduct surveillance on Catholics. On the recommendation of the Southern Poverty Law Center, it revealed its desire to use informants inside the Catholic Church.

After the 2022 Supreme Court judgment on Dobbs, FBI informant Garret O’Boyle informed investigators from Congress that the FBI had produced a terrorism danger tag. O’Boyle said emphatically that the intended target of the designation was pro-life supporters.

The statement finished by stating that it’s not right for the FBI director to help one political faction by going after another. Therefore, Greene has introduced impeachment articles against FBI Director Christopher Wray for his corrupt behavior.
