Hillary Ridiculously Blames Hot Weather on Republicans

(USNewsMag.com) – On Elon Musk’s X social media platform, previously known as Twitter, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pointed the finger at Republicans tied to Trump voters for the recent scorching weather.

Clinton’s social media post came in response to a tweet from a left-wing think tank group that indicated that conservatives are making the climate crisis worse. The post contained a picture of the recent high temperatures in the U.S.

The post also noted that Republicans dissented from the enormously expensive climate package known as the Inflation Reduction Act, which was put up by Democrats and signed into law by President Biden in 2022.

Citing summer temperatures might be Clinton’s way of justifying Democrats’ extravagant spending on green energy.

Many quickly disputed Clinton’s assertion, pointing to scientific evidence and the fact that heatwaves and cold fronts have been recurring events throughout history. Most Americans are going through a heat wave, and the Northern Hemisphere experiences hot weather during the summer every year.

It is impossible for many to take Clinton’s claim that politics is responsible for the weather seriously. Clinton is suggesting that a group of voters who have only been present since Donald Trump’s campaign began in 2015 are responsible for significant climate changes in just eight years.

Democrats often campaign and fundraise on weather and climate change issues, leading people to believe the world will end soon if we don’t cool the earth. Al Gore and Greta Thunberg’s climate change comments usually go unnoticed.

When Clinton makes a comment like that, however, it gets attention. Democratic voters are interested in climate issues, and they devour propaganda about saving the planet. The crisis message is supported by well-funded organizations, and people are often drawn to bad news and messages of doom.

Ryan Maue, a former top climate scientist at NOAA, and others have noted that heatwaves are not a new phenomenon, but Democrats are still quick to attribute them to climate change and accuse Republicans.
