(USNewsMag.com) – After Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican, and other House Oversight Committee members were given access to view a document describing a whistleblower’s criminal claims against President Joe Biden, Greene suggested on June 8 that Biden should be arrested.
Greene said the document showed astounding behavior by Biden. She said it showed that the president was involved in a “pay-to-play” scam in which a prosecutor was bribed to drop an investigation into Burisma, where the president’s son, Hunter Biden, served on the board of directors. Greene claimed the language used in the document amounts to an impeachable offense. She characterized Biden’s behavior as a “corrupt scam”, She said Biden accepted a bribe while he was vice president and that he should be criminally charged.
Republican Representative James Comer of Kentucky claims the FBI Form FD-1023 proves Biden participated in a pay-to-play scheme while in office as vice president. Greene described the contents of the paper she viewed in the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), noting that she and the rest of the attendees were not permitted to take notes or make copies. Despite this, Greene claims she made extensive notes.
She said that the FBI source was very reliable before stating that the paper endangers the security of the nation and places Americans in danger during the conflict in Ukraine.
Greene said that Joe Biden would already have been impeached if the country were less politically divided and more committed to justice and righteousness.
Greene held a news conference in which she proposed an article of impeachment against Biden in May. According to the impeachment articles, Biden is plotting to destroy the United States methodically. Articles of impeachment were also filed by Greene in 2021, claiming Biden’s alleged collusion with Ukraine while in office.
Greene said that subpoenas will be issued by the House Oversight Committee in the near future.
