Harvard Grad Walks Out of Merrick Garland's Commencement Speech

Biden’s Attorney General HUMILIATED During Commencement Speech

(USNewsMag.com) – On May 29, Harvard’s 2020 and 2021 graduates finally walked across the stage. Attorney General Merrick Garland was on hand to deliver the commencement speech. His words fell flat for at least one student who made her feelings known in a post about the event. Her words quickly went viral.

Daily Caller Social Media Director Emma Heussner was one of the graduates at the ceremony on Sunday. She posted on social media that she walked out of the event rather than listen to Garland “talk about himself for 30 minutes.”

Heussner told her employers she was shocked by how many have supported her decision. She also pointed out how strange it is that Democrats lost their minds over her walking out of her own graduation.

The attorney general was supposed to give the graduates advice as they move forward through life, but instead, he used the opportunity to bring up January 6, 2021 — proving Democrats can weave that narrative into any speech or conversation. Heussner wasn’t the only person who was unimpressed by the AG’s speech.

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin said Garland’s speech was “mushy” and didn’t inspire confidence She went even further, calling him out for his “excessive use of the passive voice” and refusal to make clear, concise statements. Can anyone blame Heussner for walking out?
