(USNewsMag.com) – On March 17, after being suspended for more than two years, the account of former President Trump was made active again on YouTube. Trump may now start uploading fresh videos to the site for his 2.65 million followers on YouTube.
After the disturbance on January 6, the account of Donald Trump was disabled due to tweets that incited others to engage in violent behavior. Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of YouTube, said that in March 2021, the account will be reinstated when the company determines that it is secure enough.
As a result of this judgment, the president’s profiles on the three most prominent social media sites have been reinstated in advance of the election in 2024. Both Instagram and Facebook’s parent company, Meta, as well as Twitter, have now reinstated those accounts.
YouTube conducted an in-depth analysis of the ongoing threat of violence in the actual world, weighing it against the possibility that voters may hear equally from key national politicians in the lead up to an election.
This channel, along with every other channel on YouTube, will continue to be held to the same standards that our regulations require. Videos posted by Donald Trump on YouTube that were found to promote violence will be removed.
It is now possible for Trump’s campaign to purchase advertisements on YouTube.
He is now in the lead in the polls for the Republican nomination for president in 2024 and is running for office. In addition to that, he has contributed to a charitable cause by recording a track that will be sold to raise money for those who participated in the January 6 riots and are now behind bars.
A lawyer, Jenna Ellis, who worked on President Trump’s effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election, made a reference to the new Twitter owner, who removed that platform’s ban on Trump in November, when she commented on the president’s return to YouTube. She said that there is reason to wonder if the reinstatement of YouTube access could have possibly happened without the action of Elon Musk.
