(USNewsMag.com) – Joseph Gatt, best known for his acting roles on wildly popular HBO show “Game of Thrones”, as well as the 2011 film “Thor”, was arrested earlier this week for soliciting a minor.
According to a statement released by the LAPD, Joseph Gatt was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for having contact with a minor for sexual offense. The LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force announced it served a search warrant on a home on April 6. The minor reportedly lived across state lines; Fox News reports the detectives involved in the case called the communications “horrifying.”
Gatt emphatically denied the allegations against him. In a Twitter post, he said they are “completely untrue” and claimed he looks forward to “clearing [his] good name.” He went on to thank his supporters and friends for believing in him, saying that he will be “fully cooperating” with law enforcement to essentially clear his name.

The actor starred in three episodes of season 4 of Game of Thrones in 2014. He played the role of Thenn Warg from the Thenn tribe, one of the free folks who lived north of the wall. The tribe was known for its cannibalism. His character was later killed.
Gatt has been released on $5,000 bond.
