(USNewsMag.com) – In the months since the 2020 election, Dominion Voting Systems has launched numerous lawsuits. The company has sued Mike Lindell, Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Fox News. Now Dominion has added to its list of suits.
On Tuesday, August 10, lawyers for Dominion sued Newsmax Media Inc, One America News Network and former Overstock.com CEO Inc., Patrick Byrne. The voting machine company is seeking damages from the news networks for allegedly defaming them by airing false reports. In the lawsuit against Newsmax, the lawyers allege the conservative media company “helped create and cultivate an alternate reality where up is down and pigs have wings” by accusing Dominion of trying to steal the election.
Dominion announced the lawsuits on Twitter.

Newsmax responded to the suit in a statement to The Hill, saying its journalists did nothing more than report allegations that were made by former President Donald Trump, members of Congress and others. They went on to say Dominion is trying to “undermine a free press.”
The lawsuit against Newsmax and the others all ask for $1.6 billion in damages. OAN and Newsmax haven’t responded to the suits. Fox News and the companies Dominion has previously sued are all seeking dismissals.
