Depp Says Heard Used Cosmetics To Fake Assault As Celebrity Case Grips Nation

( – Johnny Depp’s defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard has finally gone to trial and it’s been a doozy. There have been allegations of abuse on both sides; the actress was accused of putting feces on his side of the bed, Depp also said she severed part of his finger and those are just a few of the allegations. Now, the most controversial appears to include multiple claims of makeup.

On April 20, during his testimony, Depp accused Heard of trying to frame him for a bloody nose by using nail polish and tissue to fake it. He said his ex-wife attacked him while they were married and as they were struggling, their heads connected. Depp said his face never hit hers, but she left the room and came back with a tissue that had what appeared to be blood on it. Heard allegedly claimed he broke her nose.

Depp told the court he went into her bathroom a few moments later and pulled the tissue out of the trash. That’s when he said he “realized it was nail polish, nail varnish.”

In another twist, Heard’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft claimed the actress carried around Milani Cosmetics’ All-in-One Correcting Kit during her relationship with Depp to cover up bruises left from his alleged abuse until she filed for divorce in 2016. Upon learning its product was named in the court case, Milani Cosmetics posted on TikTok pointing out its product didn’t exist during the former couple’s relationship. The correcting kit wasn’t released until 2017.
