Attorney General May Prosecute Donald Trump, Democrats Think

(USNewsMag.com) – Former President Donald Trump has been out of office for a year, but that hasn’t stopped Democrats from attacking him. The January 6 commission seems to have been formed for that exact purpose. Some Democrats even think the Department of Justice (DOJ) is going to move against the former POTUS.

According to a report by The Hill, Senate Democrats reportedly believe Attorney General Merrick Garland is going to charge Trump with crimes. The lawmakers accused him of trying to illegally overturn the 2020 election and inciting a riot on January 6.

The former president has already been acquitted by the Senate of allegedly inciting the unrest on Capitol Hill when Democrats impeached him after the incident.

Trump is also dealing with allegations against him at the state level in addition to the federal witch-hunt. Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) told the press recently she might convene a special grand jury to obtain subpoenas for her investigation into whether the former president tried to influence state officials to change the election results. Trump and his team deny the allegations against him.

The 45th president has faced many allegations and investigations from Democrats and he’s beaten all of them. Do you think he’ll beat these ones as well?
